It is with great sadness that we learnt of the passing of HRH Queen Elizabeth ll yesterday evening.
She truly was an inspirational leader on the world stage, an icon and a mother. Life without her on the throne is indeed hard to imagine and we send our sincere condolences to the rest of the Royal Family.
The death of a monarch is an unprecedented event and a very sad time for the country. The College was truly honoured to be awarded a Queen’s Anniversary Prize in 2019 – and we remain extremely proud of this achievement, which was bestowed by the Queen herself.
Our college and our schools will be participating appropriately in the ten-day period of national mourning before the Royal Funeral takes place. Books of condolences will be placed at each of our sites for those staff and students who wish to sign them.
