Residents and local businesses are being invited to view revised site plans for a proposed new Aerospace and Technology college at Biggin Hill Airport.
London South East Colleges is leading the consultation event - It is open to all interested parties to share their views on the revised proposals.
This event follows an initial public consultation, which was held in September 2018, and helped established support for the proposed college. As a result of information gathered at pre-application, the proposed site for the college was changed and views are now being sought on this new location.
The project is a partnership between London South East Colleges, London Biggin Hill Airport and the Greater London Authority. The pioneering state-of-the-art facility will provide exciting career opportunities for young people in the region, helping to address the chronic shortage of aviation and aerospace engineers locally, nationally and internationally.
The build is due to be completed by September 2020.
The meeting will be held at 4:30-8:00 pm on Tuesday 26 February 2019
at: The Lookout Café, Maitland, Westerland, Biggin Hill TN16 3BN
Sam Parrett OBE, Principal and CEO of London South East Colleges, says: “Following a successful initial consultation, we are now keen to get further input on our revised plans. We want this to be an opportunity for all members of the community to see our proposals, talk to the project team and give feedback."
